Part 2: I am Demeter, goddess of the harvest, grain, and farming. I am also known as Ceres, Sito, or Thesmophoros. I had a daughter named Persephone who was kidnapped by Hades and forced to marry him. I grieved her absence and brought winter to mourn her loss; however, Hades allowed her to return for 4 months of the year. As a result, I bring spring to celebrate her return.
